Native American Community Clinic

About this Project
Located in South Minneapolis, the Native American Community Clinic was hoping to make better use of a vacant space in their building that had previously been relegated to storage. Our team worked to transform the former automotive repair garage space into an extension of their modern medical space with no disturbance to their staff and the patients in their care. Now, the clinic expansion is one of the most inviting spaces in the building, with abundant natural light.
Jesse and his team at JP McDonald are true partners in the design/build process.
As a first step in the project, they gathered input on our objectives, priorities and budget. They kept us up-to-date on project development and status– when issues came up (as they always do) they helped us understand our options for moving forward– their approach really supported us and gave us confidence that we were making good decisions based on our objectives and budget.
Jesse is incredibly responsive and accessible–we always felt that we have a direct line for questions or as issues came up. At one point, there was an unexpected smell that affected our ability to work in the clinic. Jesse was able to stop on a dime and reschedule that work for a time that the clinic was closed. Throughout the project, they were attentive to and aware of how their work would affect our capacity to see patients.
Their pricing was the most competitive of the estimates that we received, the work was super high quality, the project finished on-time and on-budget. We unreservedly recommend JP McDonald. Please contact me directly if you have questions or are looking for a reference.
